Folk music is all about trains, broken hearts, and being out of a job. You should write a song about stowing away aboard a train because you don't have a job so you don't have the money to go see your lost love and win him back, and you're sitting in the boxcar hoping you'll get to him before it's too late, and you're eating a burrito. And it's giving you heartburn.
Hello, Nikki-- nice blog. I'm the guy (with the blog, obviously) who was over at Jeff's graduation party last Saturday. My apologies for a late post offering any feedback. But anyways, interesting stuff (although not as random as MY blog, heh). Well, it was a pleasure. Keep up the good work and God Bless,
Nikki! How sad am I that I missed your show? ...but I have a pretty good excuse, I think, since I'm typing this post from a hotel in Cologne, Germany! Off to London! Hope it went amazingly well!
I also meant to go, but a friend of mine called me and said if I joined him and his girlfriend and her friend for beers, and paid the cover, he would buy my drinks. It was one of the more miserable times of my life, not to mention they go tired of hearing the three white guys in a rock band on stage, so we left so we could go somewhere else featuring another nameless three white guys in a rock band. Maybe Three White Guys in a Rock Band is a good name for a band? Just throwin' that out there.
So the point to that story is that I should've gone to the Tatom & King Show, like I said I would. :)
Look how cute you are! Oh my gosh i miss you! i was just thinking about the Hidesug days yesterday. Man...good times. I am coming to visit in October....should i drive or fly?
I'm 30 years old. My husband and I have 2 amazing sons: Noah Spurgeon and Isaiah Newton. I love Sonic cherry limades, singing and playing guitar, cuddling with my husband first thing in the morning, and salty foods.

You need to hurry up and get famous so you can come up and play in Minneapolis.
